Dr. Curtis Haskins, Dr. Gebhard Steuer, and Dr. Gerard Blake
are pleased to announce the expansion of their medical practice
to include urgent care.
Expanded weekday hours and Saturday hours have been added
to accomodate patients with no appointment necessary. Dr.
Haskins notes, "Windermere Shopping Center is a well-known
location that is easily accessible from Downtown, West Ashley,
and James Island. We feel the location and hours lend itself
well for patients needing after hours care."
Patients can be seen for their urgent medical needs and then
return to their doctor, thus avoiding an expensive Emergency
Room visit. Urgent care includes:
- Acute adult and pediatric health problems
- Minor trauma including lacerations, sprains, uncomplicated
orthopaedic injuries
- Sports physicals
- Work related injuries
"The center is open to our own patients and to new
patients," Dr. Steuer adds. "Patients can walk in, be treated, and return home.
We are here for follow-up care if patients do not have their own physician."
