LMA is pleased to welcome five physicians joining LMA effective July 1, 2008.
Dr. Rush Brown joins West Ashley Primary Care as a hospitalist
caring for patients in Roper Hospital and Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. Dr. Brown will provide in-patient
hospital care for patients that are admitted under the medical care of Dr. Tim Jones, Dr. John Davis,
Dr. William Clare, Dr. Alex Marshall and Dr. Levern Livingston.
Dr. Scott Evans joins East Cooper Family Practice with
added qualifications in geriatric medicine. Dr. Evans has practiced in the community for two years and
joins Drs. Strait Fairey, Dr. Roger Rowe, Dr. John Rowe, Dr. Mark McLaughlin and Dr. John vonLehe. Dr.
Evans will practice at The Tides Medical Arts Center and has hospital privileges at Roper St. Francis
Healthcare and East Cooper Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Stuart Dawson joins Windermere Family Medicine & Urgent Care.
Dr. Dawson has practiced in the community since 2004 and recently joined Drs. Curtis Haskins and Gebhard Steuer
in their family medicine and urgent care practice. Dr. Dawson offers extended hours and Saturday hours for
total family medical care and urgent care. Dr. Dawson is board-certified in family medicine and has
hospital privileges at Roper and Bon Secours St. Francis Hospitals.
H. Edward Thompson joins Associates In Internal Medicine.
Dr. Thompson completed his residency in June 2008 from the Medical Univeristy of South Carolina and joins Drs.
David Apple, William Snyder, Cary Hickman, Charles Smith, and Chris McLain.
Thomas A. Feely joins East Cooper Internal Medicine.
Dr. Feely completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Originally from Virginia,
Dr. Feely comes to Mount Pleasant to join Drs. Richard Mills, Karen Thomas, Mike Mikola, and Susan Datta.
