Charleston, SC - Lowcountry Medical Associates is pleased to partner with Roper St. Francis Healthcare System at the Mount Pleasant
Urgent & Family Care Center on Long Point Road. The center is staffed with board-certified family practitioners from Lowcountry
Medical Associates and adds primary care services in addition to traditional urgent care. Dr. Ted Dunn, a board-certified family
physician, joined the center in November 2005 and serves as the medical director. The center is open seven days a week and provides
primary health care for patients unable to get same day appointments with their physicians. Additionally, the center provides
immediate and follow-up care for minor trauma including lacerations and orthopaedic injuries, acute adult and pediatric health
problems, gynecologic services, sports physicals, and work-related injuries that may not require an emergency department visit.
The center's diagnostic services, supplied by Roper St. Francis Healthcare, provide efficient and reliable results for urgent and
continuous health care.
