New LMA corporate office

LMA announces the move of its corporate office to The Tides Medical Arts Center in Mount Pleasant. Effective March 10, 2007, the new address is 180 Wingo Way, Suite 202, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. The phone number, which remains the same, is (843) 937-8101.

According to Greg Robinson, CEO of LMA, the organization is looking forward to moving to the medical arts building. "Our corporate office provides support services for 25 medical and ancillary service sites, over 60 physicians and 400 employees," explains Robinson. "Although we've enjoyed our residence at Fairfield Office Park, West Ashley for the past two years, we're looking forward to neighboring with specialty and primary care practices." Two of our practices will join the corporate office in moving to The Tides Medical Arts Center. East Cooper Family Practice and East Cooper Internal Medicine will move from their Bowman Road locations to the second and third floors in March.

The Tides Medical Arts Center will be a one-stop medical center for patients to see their primary care physician, and their specialists, and to have Laboratory and Imaging Services provided in one location. In the Spring, the medical arts center will open a new imaging center to include: Nuclear Medicine, CT, Ultrasound, Mobile MRI, Digital X-Ray, Bone Densitometry, and Laboratory services. All diagnostic services are using an integrated information system that allows the patient's physician to review the test results immediately from any office location.
