Jason Berendt, MD joins North Charleston Internal Medicine

Charleston, SC --- Lowcountry Medial Associates (LMA), one of South Carolina's largest primary care group practices, is pleased to announce Jason Berendt, MD has joined its team of highly-skilled physicians. Berendt will be practicing with Dr. R. Stewart Eads at LMA's North Charleston Internal Medicine office located on Eagle Landing Boulevard in North Charleston.
Berendt joins the LMA practice group after recently completing his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he also completed an internship and medical school. Berendt's clinical interests include preventative medicine, hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases. His hobbies include spending time with family, sailing, anthropology and reading.
Berendt is currently accepting new patients and has hospital privileges at Roper Hospital and Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital.
LMA consists of 60 primary care physicians in 22 practices conveniently located throughout the Lowcountry. LMA specializes in family medicine, pediatrics and internal medicine. Additionally, LMA owns eight laboratory offices, a physical medicine and pain management center, and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center.
