Learn and Live... LMA participates in American Heart Association's Golf Classic

Charleston, SC --- A perfect June morning in the lowcountry was the setting for this year's American Heart Association's Golf Classic at Briar's Creek Golf Club. Lowcountry Medical Associates, along with other lowcountry organizations, participated in this event to help in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

"We are happy to be a part of this annual event," commented Dr. F Strait Fairey, president of LMA."Events that raise awareness in disease prevention and wellness are important to us."

Dr. Fairey was joined by Dr. Mike Mikola, Dr. John vonLehe and Mr. Greg Robinson, members and administration of LMA.

LMA is already gearing up for the Lowcountry Heartwalk in September. Greg Robinson, a member of this year's Heartwalk Executive Committee reports, "We have our practices charged and ready for September 24."
