LMA physicians are included in a wide variety of health insurance plans (such as Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and Cigna), making it easier for you to access quality health care across the Lowcountry. It is important to keep in mind that insurance plans change frequently. It is always a good idea to check with your insurance company or physician office for specific information about your plan and the coverage it provides.

Each of our practices carefully coordinates billing and insurance submission and strive to make this portion of your health care service hassle-free. If you have any questions about a procedure, coverage or a billing-related question, contact your physician's office during business hours and a patient financial advisor will be able to assist you.

Remember, insurance companies will pay for procedures performed at our practices under certain circumstances. Each insurance plan is different and we encourage you to reads your plan carefully. And remember to always bring your insurance card with you to all your visits.
