F. Strait Fairey Jr., MD
 F. Strait Fairey Jr., MD has
served as president of Lowcountry Medical Associates (LMA) since its inception in 1995. In
this capacity, Dr. Fairey oversees the corporate functions of 25 primary care
practices which includes internal medicine, family practice, and pediatrics.
Dr. Fairey is a practicing family medicine physician at East Cooper Family Practice in Mount Pleasant. His
training includes medical school and family practice residency at the Medical University of South
Carolina. After completing a year as chief resident in family practice in 1974, he started his practice.
Dr. Fairey is board certified in family practice and a fellow with the American Academy of Family
Practice.
