The Ryan White Part C HIV Care Management Program is a federally funded program that helps coordinate comprehensive medical care for people living with HIV/AIDS. The program is an early intervention service program designed to help improve the quality and availability of primary healthcare for those with HIV/AIDS.
The Ryan White Program recently expanded and opened a comprehensive HIV clinic, now dubbed ‘The Wellness Center’. The name reflects our commitment to a holistic approach to wellness, as well as helping to ensure that clients feel comfortable about receiving care in a discrete, welcoming environment that does not identify as an ‘HIV clinic’.
The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act of 2006 is named after a 15 year-old boy who experienced great discrimination because of his HIV status.
